In the multicultural society we live in today, education remains the best method of communicating cultural values. In this talk, we will be exploring the different artistic and intellectual approaches taken by artists from east and west, as well as looking at the ways in which arts education in China can promote critical thought in addition to just teaching students technical skills.

About Audi Arts and Design Award

Founded in 2010, the Audi Arts and Design Award is China’s first major cross-discipline award focusing on Chinese contemporary art and design, with its motto, “Inherit, Innovate, Lead”. Bringing together visual art, design, and performance amongst other things, the Award aims to encourage Chinese creativity and also to promote Chinese contemporary art and culture.
