ABOUT THIS PROGRAM

Tiger, the king of the jungle. Where did they use to inhabit? What kind of stories are there? What are the consequences of human habitation on their lives? If you had to imagine their present and future, how would you convey it? In this session of children’s workshop with artists, we especially invited Yang Maoyuan to enter the world of tiger, listen to stories and complete your own works of art based on the imagination of tigers. And there will also be special guests from Save China’s Tigers to tell us more about tigers.

Yang Maoyuan’s Extinction/Reincarnation series, the artist uses ash, pencil and oil pastels to create moving portraits of large animals that have been driven to extinction by humans.
