In conjunction with the exhibition “ON | OFF: China’s Young Artists in Concept and Practice,” UCCA presents the documentary film ON | OFF: Young Chinese Artists in China. Filmmaker Xie Meng goes on the road with the curators as they travel across China to cities including Beijing, Shanghai, Hangzhou, Guangzhou, Chongqing, Wuhan, and Shenyang, seeking out and documenting a “new generation” of creative minds.
