Bice Curiger was born in 1948 in Zurich, Switzerland, and studied art history, folklore, and literary criticism at the University of Zurich. In 1984, she co-founded Parkett and is the publication's editor-in-chief. Bice joined the Kunsthaus Zürich in 1993 as a curator, and in 2005 she became the editor of Tate Etc., the magazine of the Tate Gallery in London. From 2006-2007 she was a professor at Humboldt University in Berlin. In 2011 she was invited to serve as the visual arts director of the 54th Venice Biennale.
Dieter von Graffenried was born in 1947 in Basil, Switzerland. He graduated from the University of Zurich and co-founded Parkett in 1984. An art historian and critic, he serves as publisher for the magazine.
Jacqueline Burckhardt studied art history and archaeology at the University of Zurich. Also trained in art conservation, she participated in restoration projects with the International Centre for Conservation and Restoration Rome (ICCROM) Dublin, Segovia, Brasov (Romania), Venice, and Göreme (Turkey). She is a co-founder of Parkett and serves as senior editor.
Pu Hong is an established art critic, architect, urban planner and thinker. As a writer and observer, he has contributed formative texts to publications including Leap Magazine and Art Today and Hua Kan. A graduate of the Columbia University School of Architecture, Planning and Preservation, Pu Hong has been a key figure in academic and architectural relations between China and the States, furthering work in urban planning, research and implementation as well as leading domestic cultural workshops and exhibitions. He currently resides in Beijing where he is with Studio X.
