Performer

Thibault Cauvin

Coming from a family of musicians, Thibault Cauvin began learning the guitar with his father at age six. After graduating from conservatories in Bordeaux and Paris, Cauvin embarked on the international competition circuit. He is the first and only guitarist in the world to win 13 first prizes at the age of 20. With a family background in contemporary music, and extensive classical conservatory training, Cauvin is an ambassador of new classical guitar. He presents a rich and modern repertoire that combines the technical beauty of classical guitar with a contemporary musical sensibility. Cauvin was recently nominated as “Ambassador of Bordeaux Metropole.”
