2012.11.24
10:00-11:30

Location:  UCCA Salon
Language:  In Chinese Only

ABOUT THIS PROGRAM

“Time for dinner!” This is what we hear everyday from our parents. While tasting the food prepared by dad and mum, have we ever thought of the kids who lived 1000 years ago? What was in their plates, and how did they eat and drink? Did they have their own McDonald and Coke?

China is world-renowned for its food culture. Contents relating to food can be easily found in the ancient poetry and essay. This time, our guest, Ji Chao, is going to introduce the traditional Chinese staple food, meat, and cooking tools.

In the Touching China Series, the teacher will introduce children into traditional Chinese culture by playfully practicing poems and customs, highlighting the details of traditional culture, in order to feel the artistry in life.
