“Animal Community” is a virtual community, a paradise for animals, made by you, the particpants. Every participant is required to bring items from home. Items should be small, easy to cut up, unused, and safe. The artist Deng Dafei will lead and create the art works with you.

Deng Dafei graduated from the Mixed Media Department of the China Academy of Art with a Master's degree in 2005 His work uses the human body as the basis of video art. Deng Dafei and He Hai together formed the Utopia Group, launching a series of art projects, includingbringing the Palace of Puzzles to the 798 art festival. Utopia Group emphasizes the importance of art education, freely moving betweenlocal and international cultures.
