UCCA Beijing

UCCA Children’s Artist Workshop: Illustrators from Belgium (Part 3)

2013.8.29
16:00 - 17:30

Location:  UCCA Salon
Language:  Dutch with Chinese translation

ABOUT THIS PROGRAM

UCCA is proud to host a series of workshops with three highly acclaimed Belgian illustrators, each with a recently published Chinese-language children’s book. They will separately host three children’s workshops to share their passion for drawing.

In the third workshop of this series, Kaatje Vermeire will teach kids to draw fantastical creatures on thick cardboard. They’ll then use text and image cut-outs to turn the cardboard drawings into wild collages. She is the illustrator of Mare and the Things that Matter.

UCCA Children’s Artist Workshop

These workshops provide an opportunity for families to learn about contemporary art and for children to develop their artistic talents in the company of leading artists. Children’s workshops are organized in conjunction with UCCA exhibitions.
