Spring Festival is right around the corner, and the whole city is filled with holiday spirit. Now kids can help bring a bit of Spring Festival cheer to UCCA too! Every morning from January 22 to 25, teachers from the UCCA Creative Studio team and students will be making traditional Chinese crafts with a contemporary art twist. Guided by the teachers, kids will learn about Chinese traditional crafts from picture books like Tuanyuan (Family Reunion), Zhima (Paper Horse) and Zaowangye (The God of the Kitchen). Instructors will also teach art techniques including relief painting, printmaking, and 3D characters.
The UCCA Creative Studio brings together a highly accomplished and international team of educators and artists to deliver a unique arts education experience for children and families.
