Li Hu
Li Hu, founding principal of OPEN Architecture, director of Columbia University GSAPP’s Studio-X Beijing, and former partner of Steven Holl Architects.
Yong Ho Chang
Founder of the Architecture Research Center of Peking University. He became the Head Professor of MIT Architecture in Sept. 2005 and is the first Chinese architect in charge of a major U.S. architecture research center. He has been a member of the Pritzker Architecture Prize jury since 2011.
Zhou Rong
Associate Professor, School of Architecture, Tsinghua University. Master of Design Study, Graduate School of Design, Harvard University and Ph.D of School of Architecture, Tsinghua University. In recent years, he has been invited as professional reviewer of contemporary architecture in feature films made by Discovery, National Geography and other international media. He is well-known and very influential in the field of urban criticism and architectural review.
Zhu Jingxiang
Associate professor in School of Architecture, Chinese University of Hong Kong. He designed a number of public buildings in mainland cities within ten years since 1995. His professional work has been exhibited in Beijing , Berlin , Zurich, Shanghai , Hong Kong and Shenzhen and won certain significant academic prizes.
His research now is in the area of new articulation of structures and space, light material, cost-effective architecture and vernacular construction.
Since 2009, he developed two innovative prefab light-weight construction systems, and applied it for three Eco-school construction and two Eco-Stations in Sichuan and Yunnan quake areas. These projects showcases an alternative and unique approach for reconstruction and new development in rural China.
