Maleonn studied painting for over a decade and worked as a director and art director for commercials. In 2004, he began creating his own unique, elaborately-staged art photographs. Although Maleonn (Ma Liang) has held over 20 solo exhibitions around the world, his photographic work has yet to be fully displayed in Beijing.

In his UCCA lecture, Maleonn will share his experiences as a photographer, talk about his passion for collecting old photographs, and reveal some of the things that photography can help us to see. Looking forward to welcome you soon!
