In this “China New Design” series lecture, Chen Zhou will screen his film Morning! as well as some footage of himself at work in his daily artistic practice. Media artist Chen Zhou was born in 1987, and is a graduate of the Digital Media Department of the Central Academy of Arts (CAFA) in Beijing. He has long been interested in investigating the relationship between the visual and the literal language of images, and exploring the beauty that results from their interaction. Highly attuned to the world around him, Chen Zhou creates works that highlight the connection between himself and his surroundings.
