The newly published FCJZ Picture Book organizesarchitect Yung Ho Chang’s design practice from the last two decades using the unique format of a picture book. A combination of drawings, drafts, and traditional ink painting, the book presents his ideas, his design process, and important concepts in the history of art and architecturethrough hundreds of exquisite drawings.
In this lecture, Yung Ho Chang will discuss his new book, his favorite cartoonists, and other Chinese picture books he admires.

Yung Ho Chang is a member of American Institute of Architects, the chief architect of Atelier FCJZ, and the founder of the Peking University Graduate Center of Architecture. He was formerly a professor and the director of the Department of Architecture at MIT. He is now a professor at the College of Architecture and Urban Planning of Tongji University.
ShuKewen is a writer and an associate editor of Life Week magazine. She was formerly an associate professor at the Institute of Policy and Management, Chinese Academy of Sciences.
