UCCA’s Public Practice team has curated a series of public programs structured around the theme of “Modern Promenade,” each exploring historical, cultural, and social issues covered by the exhibition. These activities include guided tours led by inspiring special guests, discussions, workshops, and screenings, and will be presented on weekends during the exhibition period.
The journey begins at UCCA Edge in Shanghai, where for six weekends the audience will discover how major changes in European society inspired the flourishing of creativity captured by the exhibition, and how this era influenced future generations. The journey then moves on to UCCA Beijing, where programming continues over five weekends of events showcasing the amazing art of Europe’s modern masters.
Additional special programs will be held throughout the exhibition period, covering topics and fields including urban culture, theater, film, and more. For the most up-to-date information on events, please refer to announcements on UCCA’s official website and UCCA Edge’s official WeChat account and other social media platforms.
