Ji Dachun’s artworks are marked by an eccentric sense of humor. Using acrylic and Chinese ink, Ji paints strange figurative scenes and absorbing abstract landscapes. In the workshop, Chen Wei will teach the group about “Dachun humor” and his unique style of composition. Participants will then use the same materials to express their own unique style through painting.

Chen Wei was born in Xinjiang in 1963. He established Chenwei Painting in 2003, an organization dedicated to bringing art education out into nature.
