Climate conferences are held every year, but emission levels never stop growing. Scientists have said that in order to avoid the irreversible climate change, the rise of overall temperatures must not surpass 2℃. Although most nations acknowledge this claim, their policy decisions are influenced by short-term interests, public opinions, and the global economic situation.
What is everyone doing, then? Is it still possible to cap temperature rises at 2℃? What will the world look like if the temperature rises 3℃ or 4℃? With these questions in mind, UCCA has invited some young people, possibly the future of climate change negotiations, to talk about the Doha conference they attended last month.
