“Let science be popular, this is my dream. I want to make science become something like music, film and sports, getting out of the ivory tower and walking into our daily lives, and turning into a common topic at the dinner table and in travel. A true dream is not daydreaming. You have to take the first step, which is the most important thing. On the road of pursuing your dream, there will be new friends, and some will choose to quit. I have always believed that only the real dream will have the absolute power to assemble people, and be worth a lifetime of persistence.

Ji Shisan, whose real name is Ji Xiaohua, is the founder of the Science Squirrels Club and CEO of Guokr Interactive Technology Media Company. Tagged as a non-traditional science educator, he graduated from the University of Science and Technology of China and Fudan University, where he received a doctorate degree in Neurobiology.
