Kyoto-born sculptor Teppei Kaneuji gathers icons of modern culture and everyday objects—hula hoops, shopping carts, plastic dinosaurs, Doraemon—then pours “White discharge” or plastic resin over them. The resin drips down to cover some pieces entirely, hardening into stalactites and pooling on the ground. In this workshop, we will be making our own towers. Participants should bring 3-5 small objects no longer in use from home to be used in the session.
