History is the memory of a country and its people.Young artists, do you have any unforgettable memories? A special day or an interesting thing? If the answer is “yes,” do you want to turn it into a marvelous “history?”
The 170 stop-action videos of artist KanXuan, which together record every known imperial tomb in China, show us the history of a nation. And you, young artists, will use posterboard to make a “window of time,”which will record the different moments of your treasured memory, as a stunning, creative handmade “video.”
Every year, UCCA hostsmany exhibitions that inspire and ignite the imagination. This is the first event of our new “artist-led series,” which will allow kids to engage more deeply with our exhibitions and the work of artists on display.
